1. Fokus pada keyword Anda, pikirkanlah sejenak kira-kira orang akan memasukkan kata kunci apa di Google atau Yahoo yang tepat untuk website Anda.
2. Gunakan judul berisi keyword.
3. Gunakan keyword 5 - 10 kali dalam isi tulisan Anda.
4. Gunakan ALT (untuk link dan image) berisi keyword Anda.
5. Gunakan BOLD dan ITALIC pada keyword Anda.
6. Gunakan link pada keyword Anda.

Teknik SEO OFF PAGE, adalah dengan cara membangun link sebanyak mungkin ke arah blog kita. Anda bisa ikut pertukaran link dengan teman, atau memasang link pada halaman friendster, comment, buku tamu dan sebagainya. Semakin banyak link yang mengarah ke website kita, maka PAGERANK kita akan semakin tinggi. Semakin tinggi PAGERANK berarti semakin besar kemungkinan website kita berada di urutan tertinggi search engine.

Anda juga harus memperhatikan Anchor Text pada saat membuat link ke arah website Anda.
